A twinkle placed in every eye<\/p>\n
That waits to see which way they fall<\/p>\n

The coins have travelled far and wide<\/p>\n
Been traded, saved, swapped and spent<\/p>\n
Found pockets in which to reside<\/p>\n
Been lost and found, changed and lent.<\/p>\n
They have been treasured and adored<\/p>\n
In hopes and dreams both great and small<\/p>\n
And now they rest upon the board<\/p>\n
To wait and see which way they fall<\/p>\n

The two are brought to centre court<\/p>\n
Like lovers on their wedding day<\/p>\n
Or players in a sacred sport<\/p>\n
That do not know which game they play<\/p>\n
One flick and they begin to fly<\/p>\n
While many lives are held in thrall<\/p>\n
Each time they turn a chance goes by<\/p>\n
We wait and see which way they fall<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Each penny bears a head and tail<\/p>\n
Two separate faces on each side<\/p>\n
At any time one will prevail<\/p>\n
One face must show, the other hide<\/p>\n
The two must always co-exist<\/p>\n
And both obey the spinners call<\/p>\n
To neither favour nor resist<\/p>\n
But wait and see which way they fall<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The day must always chase the night<\/p>\n
And autumn never sees the spring<\/p>\n
The world is always dark and light<\/p>\n
With every season in full swing<\/p>\n
We all exist in this embrace<\/p>\n
For there is right and wrong in all<\/p>\n
We\u2019re brought together in this place<\/p>\n
