Poetry on a Plate Album
Andrew Hull
Three nights a week between April and October, visitors to Bourke and locals alike gather beneath the stars around warm campfires at the iconic Kidman’s Camp. They have come to listen to some of the poetry of Western NSW by the Bard of Bourke, Andrew Hull, and to fill their bellies with the slow cooked dinner prepared by Sarah Goulden.
What is recorded here is a version of the performance that takes place at ‘Poetry on a Plate’, we only wish we could package up the whole experience, but at least you will glean some idea of what is so special about this event, and why people keep returning to Poetry on a Plate.
